How Google and AI assistants read your Hellopeter profile

Understand what Google, ChatGPT and other AI systems can see on your Hellopeter profile, and what you can do to make the most of it.

More and more customers ask an AI assistant "is this company any good?" before they contact you. Those assistants build their answer from pages they can read. Your Hellopeter profile is one of the pages they read, and it is built so that they can.

Why it matters how a page is built

A search engine or AI system reads a page in one of two ways. Some run the page like a browser does. Others only read the raw text the server sends them. Google does both. Most AI crawlers do the second only, so a page that is assembled in the visitor's browser looks close to empty to them.

Until September 2026, Hellopeter was a single-page application: the browser built each page on the visitor's machine, so a crawler that did not run code received a shell with a generic title. Google ran the code and read us fine. Most AI crawlers did not, and for them a profile was close to blank. Making every page readable without running code was one of the main reasons for the rebuild. Since September 2026, every page on Hellopeter is built on our servers and delivered as complete text, and a system that reads your profile without running any code receives the full page.

What a machine can read on your profile

  • Your TrustIndex, in the page title, the page description and the page text, and as a machine-readable value.
  • Your star rating and your review count for the last 12 months, marked up as structured data. This is the format search engines and AI systems use to attribute a figure to its source.
  • The full text of the reviews shown on your profile, each marked up as a review, together with your replies.
  • Hellopeter's AI analysis of your customer feedback: your overall AI score and your five theme scores, a written summary of what customers say, your top strengths and key concerns, and the topics customers mention most. If you are scored in more than one category, each is there. The summaries are marked up so an AI assistant can quote them directly.
  • Your ranking in every industry listing you appear in, each as a machine-readable value.
  • The answers to the common questions people ask about your business, marked up as FAQ content.

We block no search engine or AI crawler. The site also publishes a file that describes Hellopeter's data to AI systems.

What to expect

Google re-reads pages within days, and Google's AI answers already quote Hellopeter's TrustIndex as a fact about a business. Other AI systems re-crawl the web on their own schedules, usually over weeks, so your Hellopeter figures appear in their answers progressively rather than overnight.

What you can do

  • Reply to your reviews. Your replies are part of the page. An AI assistant asked "does this company respond to complaints?" can see that you do.
  • Keep collecting reviews. Your rating, review count and AI scores are based on the last 12 months. Fresh reviews keep the figures current.
  • Publish Business Responses (Premium). A response to a theme in your AI summary appears on your profile and is readable by every system.
  • Show your Hellopeter rating on your own website. A live rating on your site is readable by every system and links back to the source. Ask our customer success team about the widget.

How the AI scores are calculated

Hellopeter's AI reads the text of every review you received in the last 12 months, not only the star rating, and scores you from 0 to 5 on five themes for your industry. Scores refresh quarterly. Review volume does not affect the score itself, only how much data sits behind it. The full explanation is in our article Understanding Your AI Insights on Hellopeter.
